Your 2D artist really went hard in the intro!! Brilliant opening, set up the setting well and helped me as a viewer understand why it is we should be rooting for the player character. I think it may have been rushed in terms of timing, as for someone who can't read english quickly or doesn't speak english as a native language may have difficulty keeping up. Even I had a struggle trying to keep up with the text speed, and I'm a notoriously fast reader. The only complaint I have graphics wise is that I wish the map itself kept the same style as the rest of the game, it really would have tied visuals together nicely.
I think in terms of gameplay, a little bit of polish goes a long way. Having some kind of indication for the player to know where to go, how to move and potential mechanics like wall jumping or attacking monsters would make this game much more playable, and was something I wished was a little more present in my playthrough. Simple playtesting would give you a little more of a clear idea as to what to fix next time around.
Good job on releasing a game in time!! I hope yall had a fun time putting it together, it definitely looks like there was a lot of care put into it :)
