- You're absolutely right about the day-night backgrounds! I'm planning in the future to work on the background images like you suggested (and probably doing some new ones, like the bathroom one didn't went nice as i though. (━┳━｡ _ ｡━┳━) )
- About the close-up images, it was a hellish moment ╥﹏╥ I tried so hard to matching most of the sprite trought a big amount of generations. That were the best one they come up, but to be honest i could improve and work on them a little bit, so i'll get my hand on them once i want to give the game a little bit of polish with a future update! (〜^∇^)〜
