I AM RATING THESE ALL THESE JAM SUBMISSIONS RELATIVE TO ONE ANOTHER. THERE ARE HIGH HIGHS AND LOW LOWS BUT PLEASE DON’T TAKE THIS TOO PERSONALLY, AFTERALL, WE ALL ONLY HAD A MONTH.
Implementation of Theme (3):
This was one of the first ones that I streamed and using expanding for friendship was a bit of let down but at same time. If they did 100% bang, I think it would’ve been better if they expanded their friendship from the near nothingness that is a casual hook-up. But like, they must’ve saw something in each other before they when to Asher’s place.
Story (3):
Still my biggest disappointment is that the title along with the first thumbnail, obviously alludes to hook-up culture and casual sex. I was really expecting this VN to tackle that in some form but it didn’t happen. I enjoyed it a lot but this still baffles me slightly.
I believe these were removed, but I thought that the little references to other Furry Visual Novels were adorable.
The True ending also kind of came out of left field.
Presentation (4):
I feel like that I’m in the minority of people because I actually really liked the style for this VN because it doesn’t make you think there’s going to be any scary creepy stuff in it.
I can completely understand why you’re hiring other artists for Silverstone Silverstone. It’s like day and night. You’re going to have a bit of an uphill battle with confused people when Silverstone Silverstone releases and they find out there was something before. But ya know, there’s so such thing as bad publicity.
The fully custom UI was cute too including the Preferences Menu.
The outside backgrounds not matching with the text was a little funny knowing that it was a picture that you took.
Creativity (5):
I did like how this VN made me really think about my choices. Even something as insignificant as deciding on if you think you had sex with the MY WOLF or not is an important choice. It had me thinking that what I made for breakfast would influence the story too.
Also I’m not one of these people, but someone, somewhere, definitely got off during the cannibalism scenes.
Total (15):
This is one of the best was people can take advantage of Jams like this the best. By using them to test out a part of a greater story to get feedback before you commit to something long term.
Let’s hope that Silverstone Silverstone go one to become one of those great FVN’s like Purrgatory, Please Don’t Kill Me Jacob or Yoga Bear, that put their first foot in the water via a Jam.
I’m looking forward to seeing if either of these two show up in Silverstone Silverstone.
