I AM RATING THESE ALL THESE JAM SUBMISSIONS RELATIVE TO ONE ANOTHER. THERE ARE HIGH HIGHS AND LOW LOWS BUT PLEASE DON’T TAKE THIS TOO PERSONALLY, AFTERALL, WE ALL ONLY HAD A MONTH.

Implementation of Theme (5):

Even thought the expanding of the radio signal only happens in Felix’s Route, I feel like having that exclusive to his route is poetic in a way. Felix wants you to expand as a person meanwhile Roy wants to keep you in his control.

Story (4):

So I did Roy’s Route first and it took me a while to figure out where it was going but I enjoyed being able to walk away from a Red Flag Wolf for once. If we had stay with him, I knew my legs would be chopped off eventually.

The symbolism with the radio in Felix’s Route was excellent. Having the less conventionally attractive wolf be the better route was a cool slight of hand. These two wolves are kind of like yin and yang in a cool dynamic. Roy is on edge while Felix is cool. All these little parallels.

The Completion Bonus was super satisfying to earn. Because able to tell Roy off in front of everyone was so purifying to the soul.

I think my biggest complaint is that scenes with Abbey felt a little too repetitive.

Presentation (4):

The custom sprites where great. I was a bit worried that the Husky MC was going to refer to himself or his sister as a wolf at one point but that never happened.

The different textboxes for each character was a cute touch. I was worried that the lack of an outline on the text was going to become an issue but it wasn’t.

The only awkward thing I have to say is that the thumbnail makes it look like Abbey is one of the Love Interests, lol. I mean, she’s certainly interested in the MC’s lovelife.

Creativity (3):

It was a nice twist on the Slice-of-Life formulas. I just wish that there was a bit comedy to spliced in but I now that’s very difficult when you’re dealing with translations. Some of the choices were a bit confusing when they didn’t do anything different on Roy’s Route but that’s most likely intentional.

I was saddened the most by this submission out of all of them for not having any tail wag because these tails look the most wag-able.

Total (16):

Dana and Nabot created this VN so smoothly that I was shocked to find out that they weren’t dating each other. It’s better for me to guess that two Frenchmen are together rather than go one for a year or two and never put the pieces together in my mind. If they ever work again, I’ll be looking forward to it.

Having this rather long Jam entry available in two languages was in credibly impressive. Especially since you didn’t have to do the English Translation in June.

Thank you for your nice words, it's always appreciated !
We're considering trying your next jam, but nothing is decided yet
