I can only place one card. It won't accept the second card even though it would make a 2-pairs (2 queens, 2 sevens). What am I missing??

From what you are explaining, nothing. Maybe it's a bug. If it happens again, mind to take a screenshot so we can take a look?

Maybe Godot isn't matured enough for web. I placed one card, then couldn't place a second. I did an UNDO on the first card and then couldn't place any cards at all. Here's the console output:
