We will be adding the poker hands to the info panel, and the bug you mentioned is already fixed for the upcoming version :D 

It was clear in the tutorial, but with all of the frenziness of the game, it was very hard for me to see (while trying to survive).

I agree, and not offended at all :D 

The game looks really good, and is quite fun (even though Im not an avid player of those types of games)

I do have to say, 2 things kept bothering me a bit:
1. It had a lot of performance spikes. Not sure if its the webgl version, but had micro hang ups very often, which kind of killed the mood of the fast paced game
2.It was very hard for me to really see when I could dash again. With all of the enemies, bullets, etc, I felt often that I wanted to dash, but couldn't, and had no clear indication of when I could.

Other than that, keep going!

Thanks a ton for trying it out!  You are right, at this point that is the case. There is some luck involved, but not a lot of agency (other than what you play). We have a lot of ideas to tackle this, we will work on them on future versions to overcome this issue

We are looking for constructive criticism and feedback on our demo for The Golden Caravan.

We have lots of ideas to where to take the game, but we need a clear answer first if the core battle mechanic is fun and hooking enough.

The story is not implemented yet in the game, but to give a quick idea:

When your grandfather, a revered locksmith, is kidnapped by the ruthless gangster known as The Great Owl, it's up to you to infiltrate the infamous Golden Caravan casino and rescue him.

Battle your way through its treacherous floors, face cunning foes in intense poker-themed confrontations, and uncover the dark secrets behind the city's oppression. 

Can you outwit The Great Owl, rescue your grandfather, and restore justice to your city?

What We’d Like to Know

We’re particularly interested in hearing your thoughts on:

  • Battle Mechanics: How do you find the poker-themed battles? Do they add strategic depth to your gameplay?
  • Artifacts: Have you discovered and used the artifacts? How do they impact your strategy and enjoyment?
  • Weapons: What’s your experience with our new weapons? Do they feel balanced and impactful in combat?

As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter slot machines scattered throughout the casino. These machines grant you powerful artifacts that can significantly impact your journey. Each artifact offers unique abilities and bonuses, making them essential for advancing deeper into the game.

Yes, we totally agree. Next version we want to work on those differentiators, where active skills and other factors play a bigger role on the outcome of the game.
