Hey, I'm working on a twine game about managing your time in a new polycule. A major theme will be the main character being kind of scatterbrained, and not always being able to keep to commitments. If the player makes certain choices, it can end in them getting dumped, but I also want a positive ending to be possible. Would this be considered a negative portrayal of polyamory? I would make it as clear as I can that polyamory is not the *reason* for the protagonist's time management problems, but just another thing on a big list of things they have to dedicate time to. But I'm not sure if that is enough to fit the criteria.
I don't think having a potential bad ending is a negative portrayal, personally. Thank you for your conscientious approach to the subject matter! As long as the story supports the good end as the canon one (which it seems so since the bad end does not end up in said polycule), this is more than fine. Thank you for checking in! It sounds like a fun time! I am excited to read it myself, should you choose to submit it.
