I think Fox was on point with some of his feedback.
I'd say play with a metronome, actually. Play to a click for a while, I think the timing is throwing things off a little and making it sound a bit more improvised.
I can hear what you're going for with the timing, but I think this is one of those cases where if you played to a metronome for a while it would bring it in together and make it all sound so much more tight and crisp. Your composition and improv is quite good already (and I know how hard improv is). So, I'd definitely say play with a metronome.
I'd also say that at the micro level you make good composing decisions, but I think you should work on bringing more cohesion at the structural level. It doesn't have to be like some theory nerd thing, but think like you're telling a story.
Definitely unique stuff, great work though.
