Hi! Did you try the 1.4alpha1 or 1.3 release? Anyway, Material Maker mostly relies on generating and running shaders, so I'm not sure about your GPU (and I truly hope your RAM is GBs and not MBs ;) )...
It was 1.4. I tried the 1.3 and it works great.
Please don't hesitate to try new alphas when they are available and tell me if they work for you. You can also join us on Discord. :)
