I really didn’t know what to expect going into a game about divorce, but it was so well done! I felt the frustration of trying to say something while someone isn’t listening, the sadness and heartbreak of a relationship that just isn’t going to work out. I loved how much this made me feel, and I loved that it is possible for both parties to acknowledge their faults. The music worked beautifully with the story, and I also loved the extra window that popped up so that we could work though our thoughts privately as well. I admit I was a bit confused about the setup of the desktop screen when I first started the game, but I really liked it once I figured it out!
Overall, great story! And I loved how feelings could still be messy and people didn’t always say the perfect things in order to end things amicably. I haven’t played the messy route yet because I don’t know if I can handle it right now, but I’m very curious about it!
