def enjoyed this one more than the first as I enjoyed getting to dig deep into the hopelessness Robin felt. And I really felt for Sally in particular, who i already thought was painfully cute but she's even more sympathetic and adorable this time around, so it was delightfully horrible to watch this car crash knowing I can't do anything to save her, and my god do I wish I could save her. ;_;
unfortunately Robin dying is truly the only correct option, I can only sympathize with him so much (I mean I kept TELLING him to stop fucking around and be with his wife in the first game and he didn't listen!🤷🏽) and i personally rejected bell as my first choice cuz i think Mel' is entitled to her body and she was entirely denied a choice and it's simply not right for Bell to be there, even if at this point she's given up...
One thing I kept thinking though once the idea of her possessing someone else was brought up was that since Robin also a depressed shell of a man like from the moment she met him in fact... HE actually was a pretty viable host for Bell. perhaps in another universe before things become so irreparably damaged though, bell could have just jumped straight into the source and possessed Robin. Then perhaps we'd get a disturbingly happy go lucky middle aged man with what seems to be narcissistic tendencies instead of... *points at all of him* that. Bell mentions that Melody used to speak with her for a while. They can communicate in there and everything so it's fine. a family can be a depressed man, his beautiful wife, his depressed daughter, and the chronically chatty catgirl who lives inside his head. Well, it can't for him, but maybe if someone else meets a cat girl they can do that, oh well.
