Bro, I think that ID tech 6 was taken down because the company behind it went bankrupt. Weirdly though, you can still get ID tech 3 for download.
Because id Tech 3 was open-sourced all the way back in 2005.

GitHub is a Git repository hosting service. Just search “idtech 3 source” online and a page to id Software’s repository should appear.
I finally found my best game engine. That is godot, little in size, but containing many features. By the way thanks to helping me on ID tech 3 getting site.
