Old thread, but it happened to me on day 27 at night. I woke up around 2AM to see a puddle of blood where kerfur was standing before. I checked the cameras on the computer and saw him in the weird flesh pit thingy. I panicked and tried to find him around the base, but nothing helped. After a couple minutes he reappeared fairly close to the base so I walked him back manually. He seems to be okay, but I will be watching him closely. Hopefully he won't try to kill me in my sleep.
