Here's what i've got, I can't fit  it all in a screenshot but you can see I'm using a switch and a temporary value. The value is equal to a random value between 1-4, and then when 1, the enemy moves one value on the x, if 2, the enemy moves minus one on the x. etc. Y isn't shown here but you get the idea. Not sophisticated and works well enough for me.
