Cheers! Interesting suggesting about the 1:1 cranking. Could be an input option perhaps. I was pleasantly surprised how well the crank works for this kind of top down input.

I love the crank for this sort of input, and I was surprised because it seemed so odd to me at first glance. But games like IFO/Core Fault/Oom/Whitewater Wipeout that use 1:1 (though WW also has acceleration and momentum at play) always feel very satisfying to me and it seems like it would be a good fit for a game like this. But that's a minor quibble about an already enjoyable experience. It's solid, and I'd been missing Bosconian since my Namco plug-n-play stick went analog up a few years back, so this was a welcome site when I saw it pop up.

Latest version includes 1:1 crank and ... I confess you are correct. I find myself enjoying 1:1 much more, makes the ship feel more nimble. I'm also about to add a  few lines to save your preferences so the game remembers when you've turned 'Fixed Crank' on.

It's way cool you tried it and added it as an option. I'm gonna sideload it now and see how it feels. Thank you!

No worries. Play.date Lua makes it easy to make fast changes to try stuff out.
