Is there some trick to farming the monster drops scout needs for upgrades? Went through a full season and only got 6 out of the 30 you need for all 3 upgrades.
No, they just have a low drop rate right now. I'm always adjusting balance, so this will likely get much easier later on. The next update has more content for Scout, and addresses some of that progression.
kk. Then I'll wait for the next update instead of grinding it out. Just completed my first year so this is a good point to wait and do the new season events and scout content in one go. Is her scene locked behind those upgrades or is it a different unlock condition?
Her scenes are locked behind other interactions. Specifically, you need a study area and to restore the Tower, and you need to perform research pertaining to the undead.
