Oh my goodness, I am so sorry! This was totally user error I found out, and nothing on your part.
When I reached the room on the left after hitting it in different orders, I kept getting the got you bit and I assumed that since I kept getting the same scene, it was a guarenteed game over, I didn't realize that it was a chase/running sequence! So sorry to bother you about that, I made it past that part now
