I was watching the Lone Adventurer, and he was doing so (using the d4 to reroll a hit with the d4). I had to check here to see what the official ruling was/is.
Though, now that I look at the chart on page 8, there is a d3 for a broken weapon. So wouldn't the final die on the downward progression be a d3 (and not a d4)?
