Hey, your submission has been detected to be in violation of the rule "Your submission must run in the browser". Please ensure that you provide a playable browser version by the end of the jam or your game may not be judged. More info

(1 edit)

It's made in Unreal Engine 5.5 which does not support web packaging. The only solutions to salvage the project would be either paying for pixel streaming which is quite expensive or rebuilding in Unreal Engine 4.23 which would make me lose a lot of features and have me rebuild the whole game...

So yeah... Game has been made and submitted. In the most respectful way, it's now up to you guys if you want to rule it out or not. Thank you for the warning though it's really appreciated! (I also am aware that the rule is in place because of people submitting malware... damn goblins we'll never get rid of them)

As you mentioned, the rule is in place to prevent malware so we will unfortunately not be able to play your game or consider it for winning the jam. If time permits during the judging period, however, we may be able to review your GDD.

Fair enough. Well then there is no point reviewing the GDD. And just for your information; that rule may be getting rid of malware, but it's also ruling out Unreal Engine 5 projects as collateral damage. That may not be the best solution.
