I played this for way longer than I expected.
For a game made in 2 hours this is really, really good. The controls are surprisingly solid (ended up going with WASD for movement and LMB to transform quickly.) I wish this was mentioned as I found it much easier than using Space.
I kept learning more as I played, such as that you can transform at any time, but the amount of water you can produce is limited by the meter. So you have to fill the rain bucket in order to have enough water when you transform.
Additionally it seems like there is a threshold value of water that will create a plant on a platform. So you can water a platform, switch to bucket to dodge, go back and water the same platform, and it will continue from where you left off.
The water bucket hitbox just... makes sense, I think it's probably a one way hitbox or just small, but either way it works well. The hitbox for dying also seems somewhat forgiving. I never got frustrated when I died, it always felt like it was my fault.
The sound design is simple and good. The background music is pleasing along with the little water drops that descend in tone (I think this is physically accurate as well, which is cool!)
I dunno, I just am a sucker for good, simple games. Well done
(Logically, it doesn't really make sense to water things in the rain but who the heck cares... this game is heckin fun dang it)
