Thanks for the feedback. Quite a few good points I should address after reading through (e.g. I should add tooltips to the icons when viewing a character haha).

Were the tooltips when viewing activities working? There should be tooltips that pop up when the abbreviations are hovered.

If you can upload a save somewhere I can check why Victoria can't be promoted - it sounds like she should be able to be.

Something I'll likely add but not for quite a while is 'guest' characters; these would potentially use facilities in your realm and provide income by paying for them. Would that be a playstyle you'd prefer over primarily selling characters?

oh hey! I'm very glad to receive a positive response; I appreciate your grace & very much respect your ability to use the feedback in an effective and discerning manner according to your project's needs

  • tooltips when viewing activities did work, and that is a good feature! that's what I meant by "reading through every modifier in every event", I do like that you are able to do that. I should've listed it more specifically, that that kind of immediate on-the-fly assistance is very good. it is a bit difficult to remember exactly who has exactly what, though
  • here's my save! (google drive) in retrospect I think maybe I was supposed to incarnate the soul? I was trying to turn the orange-bordered captive soul into a blue-bordered servant soul like the one I started with, but maybe that's just not how the game works - or maybe I was just missing some part of the process or not interacting with her using the right character, I don't know. I didn't try incarnating her because I didn't want an untrustworthy incarnation
  • taking guests sound very nice and preferable and good! I at least like the broad idea. I was getting somewhat attached to my characters as the game went on, and I definitely prefer the narrative of them running a brothel/entertainment center between dimensions as opposed to being a band of slave traders. it could also be a great way to get a higher throughput of semi-disposable faces on which to try devious machinations; I would be far more willing to shoot my Himbo Gun at a random dude visiting my casino than what I saw as a trusted member of my staff. I'd also be happy for my casino to make me cash >:)

also I did not properly mention that I like the writing/setting! the tf descriptions are always worth reading for their descriptiveness, and event epilogues usually contain some surprises. it's exciting to discover new activities and locations not just because they're useful, but also because they usually provide some natural worldbuilding: these worlds are run in odd ways and they're full of odd people. the writing pulls a lot of weight in terms of "immersiveness" considering the card-game-like visual format, but I personally think it's successful

yay incarnasoul! \o/

Sorry I missed this for a bit, I somehow always miss or get confused by itch.io's notifications for comments.

Thanks for the further feedback (great to hear the guest idea sounds good) and save link - I'll check the save probably when I'm working on a patch for Alpha 21 (might be soon or might be in a bit depending on how many issues there are).

And :D I'm glad to know the writing and setting are being enjoyed ^^
