The knife timing has been tricky to land, lots of players have struggled with it, but I've smoothed it out so the window is easier to anticipate. I'm assuming regardless this would take some time to get used to because it's unlike other FPS games where melee happens in-range. The swing getting stuck if you fire too soon is just a very heavy penalty for swinging off cue - yea, this is going against FPS melee sensibilities so I'm hoping the tutorial can do some heavy lifting.
The bullet not being visible is a problem, for sure. I'm working to figure out a way to convey the window for deflect more clearly. This has been a major speedbump in playtesting, new tutorial should help make this easier to understand.
New version's got visual feedback for taking damage from the white projectiles.

Its all good ๐I have been playing a lil more and tbh im getting into the rythym of it a bit more (espically with the knife) deflecting a bullet then countering a swing right after each other feels real satsifying but yeah i do think a tutorial to explain the knife better for new players would help especially if your coming from something like post void with a slightly more convential knife
Also the visual feedback for the projectiles sounds great honestly its really cool to see all the improvements yr making i really look foward to it
