Glad to hear, that you liked it. And I definitely see your point. Maybe it would have been a good idea to have an onboarding tutorial with detailed instructions. Would also make the game more accessible. Maybe it’s part of the next overhaul. :)
I wouldn't sweat it, I actually put emphasis on "did not read" because it's right there in the instructions, so not a UI or UX issue, just a players-are-dumb-sometimes issue.
