Hey everyone! So, first off, really sorry for the radio silence. I'm a new developer, and I'm really excited about the possibility of bringing a renewed/playable version of Renapet to life! Things have been a bit of a whirlwind, and I've been wrestling with the best way to do that. As I mentioned before a few months ago, I'm learning game dev as I go, and that's definitely been a journey!

I've been putting a lot of thought into how to make the development process as efficient as possible, and after a lot of experimenting and research, I've decided to shift gears slightly and use Unity. It's got this fantastic 2D core that's perfect for what I'm trying to do, plus a ton of great tools that are really helping me level up my game dev skills. It's still a learning curve, for sure, but this feels like the right move to get a demo in your hands way faster.

So, long story short: I'm working on it, progress is happening, and I'm aiming to get a demo to you as soon as I can. In fact, I'm planning on setting up an itch.io page soon where I'll be posting regular updates, screenshots, and eventually, the demo itself when it's ready! I'll be sure to share the link here when it's live. I'm really excited about the possibility of bringing Renapet to life, and I love seeing how many people are still hoping for an update!

Cool, just hope you keep the mobile compat, would be a shame to see this game being renewed and not being able to play it

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, mobile support is definitely planned. I'm working on the foundation of the game first, but I'm aiming to have a mobile version available. I'll share more details about platforms and release timing as development progresses.
