Thank you for your kind words and encouragement! I really appreciate your interest in the game. I'll definitely keep everyone updated on how things are going. I'm working hard to make it a great experience and appreciate your patience as I do that.

I'm so happy to hear you're excited about the revival! It means a lot. When I have a demo ready, I'll also set up an Itch.io page and a Patreon (linked on the Itch.io page). If you enjoy the free demo, and you'd like to support me, that's fantastic! However, I'd recommend waiting until you've had a chance to play the demo and see the quality of the game before considering any investment. I want you to be completely happy with what you're supporting.
Hey, appreciate the enthusiasm! I'm really excited about this Renamon VPet project. It's a solo thing, and I'm learning as I go, but I'm working on getting a demo out where you can interact with Renamon, feed them, and fingers crossed, have them moving around and exploring with animations. Basic UI and stats will be there too. It might take a while since I'm doing this in my spare time, but I'll keep you guys in the loop as I make progress!
Hey everyone! So, first off, really sorry for the radio silence. I'm a new developer, and I'm really excited about the possibility of bringing a renewed/playable version of Renapet to life! Things have been a bit of a whirlwind, and I've been wrestling with the best way to do that. As I mentioned before a few months ago, I'm learning game dev as I go, and that's definitely been a journey!
I've been putting a lot of thought into how to make the development process as efficient as possible, and after a lot of experimenting and research, I've decided to shift gears slightly and use Unity. It's got this fantastic 2D core that's perfect for what I'm trying to do, plus a ton of great tools that are really helping me level up my game dev skills. It's still a learning curve, for sure, but this feels like the right move to get a demo in your hands way faster.
So, long story short: I'm working on it, progress is happening, and I'm aiming to get a demo to you as soon as I can. In fact, I'm planning on setting up an itch.io page soon where I'll be posting regular updates, screenshots, and eventually, the demo itself when it's ready! I'll be sure to share the link here when it's live. I'm really excited about the possibility of bringing Renapet to life, and I love seeing how many people are still hoping for an update!
