I don't know what I was expecting but it definitely wasn't mega man! Couple notes:

- For the controls, consider "shift" to dash in the future. "E" is awkward.

- Consider getting a musician! Mega Man and adjacent titles usually pride themselves on its soundtrack.

- I wasn't convinced about the spin theme. Were there any other spin attacks you could program?

Otherwise, it's a pretty fun take on the Mega Man formula. I enjoyed the shop and the bosses were all distinct from each other with different attack patterns and designs, which is another element of the heart of Mega Man. While not many, there were a few details that showed me that you put care into this project. Well done!

Thanks for the positive feedback!

As for your notes

"E" has been my usual dash key for my games, as well as the grappling hook in Terraria (which I use as a dash).

The musicians I talked to were either taken by another project, or didn't have what I was looking for. (also my own music sucks)

I did have more spin attacks planned, such as SIlverblast having orbiting lasers, and Mikari's projectile being able to roll along the ground, but those were cut for time constraints. The icon for the charge speed increase was originally meant for these two.
