Game's Take on the Theme
Silverblast's charge shot has two orbiting shots that drill into enemies. Mikari has a spin slash that does heavy damage the longer it's in contact with foes.
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
Yes, but some of Yuna's assets were left in by accident.

Rated! ;) Fun characters! Is it Megaman or PowerRangers? :D Cool!
I like how is this very similar to megaman! and i like that there are multiple bosses and i liked the gameplay in general! if only there were music and more sfx this game would be very good!
overall good game!
Right on cool game! I went with melee all the way! Congrats on submission. Feel free to try our game!
Cute game! I think that some SFX are a bit too loud
Cute little funny game here !
Lots of cool pieces to this game that all need a bit more attention I think to fully shine. The movement feels a little clunky, the bosses are interesting but need polish, the upgrade system is a good idea but I didn't see a dynamic stat menu to let me know what those stats meant in context. This has all the makings of a great game and I'm sure with more time it will get there!
What do you mean by "dynamic stat menu"? The only stat that gets upgraded is HP and it's already listed.
i just meant the upgrade system could use more upgrades and with that a button that shows you all your stats
I like the artstyle, it feels like anime style, also the fact that we can pick different character is cool, and the movement overal is fine, i would only say that enemy attacks need to be separated a bit so that we can evade and prepare, but its good, also i think walking animation should be abit faster or movement a bit slower to match, but all is good, I rate graphics and fun on top but all is cool, also if you have some time, please rate my game too, thanks!!
Good old vibe ! But the controls would be better if more nervous and responsive, you should keep improve the game :)
Reminds me of an old GBA game. Only thing im missing is the theme, i dont see where it is applied.
Reminds me of classic Megaman from Gameboy Advance. But where is the theme applied?
Since charge attacks are the main way of dealing damage in Megaman, my idea was "Every charge attack must spin in some way"
I also wanted to add a spin attack to each boss, but my animation skills and time constraints to put a stop to that.
I am a big fan of the Megaman series, so this game is definitely up my alley!
The art reminds of Adventure Quest, I feel it gives this game quite a bit of charm! (My personal favorites are the rock-throwing armored boss and the electric guitar boss! Looking forward to seeing the gallery giving more details about all the bosses.)
As for the gameplay, the amount/ variety of unique attacks that each boss has is impressive! On top of that, each boss has an EX skill at 50% health, these were fun to figure out how to avoid + overcome!
The rogue-like elements are generous and added an additional level of depth to the game.
Adding music and adjusting the sound effect volumes would improve this game!
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised on how much I was enjoying this game.
Looking forward to see a more polished version with additional content in the future!
Keep it up! :D
Thanks for your feedback!
I did try to add music, but it was so bad I had to cut it.
I do plan on adding 3-4 more bosses once the jam is done, as well as updating some placeholder attacks.
I like how you can choose different players. Some of the efx was a little loud. GG
I don't know what I was expecting but it definitely wasn't mega man! Couple notes:
- For the controls, consider "shift" to dash in the future. "E" is awkward.
- Consider getting a musician! Mega Man and adjacent titles usually pride themselves on its soundtrack.
- I wasn't convinced about the spin theme. Were there any other spin attacks you could program?
Otherwise, it's a pretty fun take on the Mega Man formula. I enjoyed the shop and the bosses were all distinct from each other with different attack patterns and designs, which is another element of the heart of Mega Man. While not many, there were a few details that showed me that you put care into this project. Well done!
Thanks for the positive feedback!
As for your notes
"E" has been my usual dash key for my games, as well as the grappling hook in Terraria (which I use as a dash).
The musicians I talked to were either taken by another project, or didn't have what I was looking for. (also my own music sucks)
I did have more spin attacks planned, such as SIlverblast having orbiting lasers, and Mikari's projectile being able to roll along the ground, but those were cut for time constraints. The icon for the charge speed increase was originally meant for these two.
