Ahh yes, im sorry for the confusion. I suppose you hid behind the black hole. Basically, if you were to go near where the purple spheres shot at you, you would find a large hexagon shooting circles. Your goal is to lead the hexagon into the black hole, and that was exactly what you did and the hexagon died, after defeating the boss, you're supposed to jump into a purple black hole and it'll lead you into one of the two levels.
