Mecha Gang Rise UP!

Cool game! The lore is cool, it reminds me of Dune's Navigators or Ship Minds from To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. The controls are fine, but if you're going to be holding down Left/Right the whole time I think you should just have them be shooting automatically instead and let the player turret around. I think personally it's just a little too easy? But maybe the tesla gun is just op. Just ratchetting the tension just enough is something that  gives survivor games that trigger in the brain of oh man! I just survived. But again it might have just been my run as I see other commenters that actually got that experience. The art of the enemies and thinktank was good, but felt out of place against the background to me. I liked the music it was cool.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the narrative and music! We had always intended to have a setting to autofire but unfortunately we encountered last minute techincal issues with other areas of the game that left us without the time to finish implementing autofire. Definetly agree that the tesla gun is op and in general the game is too easy. Additional balance passes were sadly another casualty of running out of time before the submission deadline. We are hoping to do additional balance changes and QOL after the judging.
