Good job Elena :) I think you captured the medieval vibes very well. I'm a fan of the instances where standard sentence structure is sacrificed for rhyme/rhythm, such as "as if by lightning struck". However, I do struggle with the times where a rhyming pair begs me to mispronounce a word. "by"/"plenty", for instance. Perhaps this is part of the style but I cannot deny that it threw me off a bit.
