So far I have found it all consuming (nearly).  I've had a week off since Monday which is when I started to really get going.  Spent 27 hours on art, nothing fancy, just a lot of 2d sprites, and really got going with coding yesterday.  I'll admit a couple of features will need to be dropped for now to hit the deadline, but nothing really game changing or critical.

I decided to try my hand at a small 2d survival/exploration game with inventory and crafting that fits the theme.  At the moment I reckon I can 90% of my original ideas into the game, but tomorrow is going to be another busy day.  Hoping to upload tomorrow night or early Saturday morning (GMT).

Nice! I hope you can get it done. Sounds cool!

Finally submitted something.

I've managed to get most of the features I wanted into the game, not in the prettiest way, but it's in there.  I just tried to test play it since uploading it and noticed a lot of the enemies haven't spawned in, some have, but not all.  I think it might be the limitations of a web build, but after spending the last 8 hours wrestling with the engine over simple scene transitions and flow, I've partially given up on it for now (5 AM here).

So I have mixed feelings overall at the moment, I'm pleased with the amount I've been able to do, and that I have been able to create some reasonably complex logic in the game, but I'm disappointed by how trying to perform what should be simple functions, that I was consistently getting errors with no reasonably identifiable solution as the issue appears to be more to do with engine load times and built in relationships rather than the logic I was trying to implement.

Anyway, here's the link if you want a look.
