Pretty sweet, solid fundamentals, had a good time playing through and beat the last gate.

The core stuff is good but I feel like this one needed a bit more juice, hitting stuff and comboing off felt good but could have been even better with some nicer VFX etc.

Another thing was the movement felt a bit basic, it seems to be just moving directly forward along the mouses aim vector, this is nice and responsive but doesn't feel like i'm actually flying, felt more like noclipping around. Would be nice if there was even just a teeny bit of inertia and aerodynamics to the shuriken (speeding up while flying down, slowing while flying up, etc etc)

Last the first few runs were quite boring, I think locking powerups behind an upgrade was a mistake, at least one of the powerups (probably speed?) should be unlocked by default cause it was honestly pretty snoozey until you start getting enough powerups to chain them.

Lots of criticism but I really did like it! Lots of fun, great core loop, fun little game, no bugs or jank and it's paced pretty well overall. Great job!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with pretty much all of your points. Juice and UI polish were the two next points on my todo. Sadly I worked on the bare minimum needed until the very end.

For the controls I really like the ideas you mentioned. I also felt like it was tight controls but missing something. It IS just moving along the camera aim so you got that right XD.

I also agree that having the speed boost unlocked from the get go would be a good idea. My thoughts were that you start out slow, get the hang of what is happening.

Thanks for all the feedback again!
