Wow, I can tell you put serious effort into this art. Very cool worldbuilding, which is really hard to do in a sidescroller. The key bindings were a little tough, but I assumed you did that to entice people not to shoot while they are moving. Either way, once I got used to the shooting keys I had a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing!
