Hi again! I just tried 0.0.3b and wanted to give some feedback for you.

I pretty much liked everything added, 

-Font type -Its good addition, but i prefer pixel type since i used to it from start. But it'll help others!

Font size -I can finally don't have to get in too close to the screen to read and thats great! (I thought font size be selected by pixels like 14-16-18-20px etc but 3 option works too)

Save slots - 15 is great, Thank you!

Auto play - I like to continue when I click since its give some kind of control instead of just watching what goes on without doing anything but great addition I believe, it was needed.)

Message Delay - I liked the delay in game, where its give you to give few seconds in some situations to think what happened. I believe instead of removing it or decreasing its time. Just make sure it'll be skipped with fast-forward button. So if you play normally you wait 5-8 seconds but if you first forward its goes without any delay like any other msg. (The waiting is unique and I really loved it. I wish to see more in next story as well)

Aspect Ratio

My phone has 20:9 aspect ratio and game kinda looks like square in the middle. It would be great if it fills more screen like other games.

Loading times.

I noticed great improve if you reduce the number of messages but when I do that, I can't check previous messages as intended so can't check anything so I don't think i'll reduce the chat messages so I'll be have to wait for it to load sadly. 

   Isn't it possible to store loaded chat and don't load everytime I open? I mean if it didn't reset chat everytime when we leave the chat there wont be any problem? 

I believe you also know/played Netorase Phone, even if theres 1000+ messages it still loads in instant. 

Lastly

in messages or OF apps. It would be great if CG is fullscreen when its clicked. I'm aware it can be done in Gallery so why not implement in on chat so we don't have to go there.

Hey thanks again for the feedback!! I don't think I reduced any of the important message delays (there are still plenty at 6 or more seconds) but just some random ones where the delay was too long when it shouldn't have been

My phone is 19.5:9 and there are small black bars at the top and bottom but the game is definitely far from a square - it looks the same as NTR phone/Damn that's Felicia which also have the same small black bars (which are both Godot games like mine). Netorase phone however seems to be made in Unity which I bet has a lot better UI scaling options than Godot does.. I'll probably spend some time one day trying to sort this out - but that day is not today.. or tomorrow :p

Loading times will be because of the dialogue manager I use and my stupid uncompressed CGs.. I really should look into compressing them to improve load times and reduce the file size but I really don't wanna reduce the quality of the images x-x I can definitely keep the chat loaded even after you close it - but it can only keep 1 chat loaded at a time so if you swap between 2 different chats it'll have to reload it.. I might look into some more performance stuff soon but it's not a huge priority atm

I'm sorry I couldn't explain myself very well. I said kinda like a square. Yes it's not like a square and ratio is pretty good too. Just wanted tell you black bars as you mentioned thats all. My bad on explanation.

Yes I see it might be about game engine, but still i believe ntr phone doesn't wait much to load a chat maybe they used different thing? I'm not sure.

Loading speed increased 2-3x time faster already, thats great.

I also wish don't lose on quality. Even if its last used chat stay loaded, thats great, because most of the time I used to go between chat and OF App so if you keep it loaded that would help. 

I wish last 2-3 chats used would be keep loaded instead of 1 chat but still would do it.

Still, I'm surprised because its just a text how can it took so much time. There must be a fix. I don't know anything about game making but doesn't seems like it should be that way.

Lastly I want to point it out again please. On chat or OF apps, when you click to img I wish it shows the img on fullscreen, like you did in gallery app, if possible..


I'm really looking forward for the story, it ended in perfect spot. As I understand you mainly want to go Ntrs path and that would be my choice as well so I can't wait.!

Dw I didn't forget about being able to click on images - that's easy to do in the OF app but in the chat app it might be a bit more complicated...

I think the load time (about 1 second on my phone) is really just because it's loading full-sized images instead of compressed ones and then who knows what Dialogic (system for managing game dialogue) is doing on top of that.. In the next update I've improved it a little bit but at some point I'll just need to look into how much compression can be done without losing any quality..
