I also received this issue just today. I tried to sign in on Firefox, then tried to reset password but never received an email. I jumped to Chrome and first try I was able to get an email for a password reset.
I didn't receive any error messages when trying on Firefox and I searched all my folders in my email, but none of the password requests went through until I used Chrome.
