I like were this game is going:

  • The art style is very good.
  • So far the music is good. There's only a few chip-tunes but they're catchy.
  • The battle logic is new even in this kind of game. You can either strike or PP which will make the enemy tired. Usually in these games the goal is to avoid PP but here it's an attack.
  • It's not finished but already an addicting game.

However there are issues:

  • Game still crashes after every event. I'm using wine on Linux but this looks like a game problem.
  • The battle system needs to be improved. I get you can attack or PP, but it's too little. There's hardly any strategy involved, it's purely based on luck.
  • Usually in rouge like games the winning factor is persistence, because even if you lose you get upgrades in the next run. However here you restart the entire game and get nothing. That makes it less interesting, because again, it's purely based on luck.
  • I got to the boss but it's ridiculously hard, practically impossible to beat. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but it's a lot more difficult than any other character.
  • There's not much feedback when you hit or get hit, so it's difficult to know when you're almost losing. You have to constantly check your health and PP. Maybe add strike and tease animations.
  • The character is disproportional in some PP attacks. Maybe make it more uniform, it would make the game more polished.
  • Could have animations at some point when you're in H mode. I don't think this is very important though, just a nice to have.

Good job, I'll keep watching.

Key to beating the boss, as well as harder enemies in Act 2+, is to notice that enemies do lust damage instead of physical damage when you're in H mode. So you can use the Suck card to make them stop hitting you, then as long as you control your LP with Doze Off or Clarity, you can keep hitting the boss.

Hope this helps :3

Thanks for the tip, that does make sense. From a technical standpoint I think that should be more obvious, maybe in a small manual explaining the logic. I really hope this game is improved because it has a lot of potential.
