for mari i like to hc that she grew up in nevada and was a family friend of Kyra (yknow coves mom from olba) idk abt kel tho.. id say he was born in chinatown in ny but has moved so much he basically forgot his hometown hehe
That would have been a rough transition from the desert to the mountains. I love that Mari's move is more tame compared to others. I personally have a bad habit of torturing my MCs so It's nice to see that some people have more mercy.
