I tend to be quite lenient with most projects. This is a local 48-hour jam, and within such a short time, it's physically difficult to create something truly polished and deeply refined. But what I do want to see are ideas.

Dude, I have nothing against using free assets. But whenever I recognize them, I immediately start judging the project much more critically. It makes me ask: What was the saved time used for? What is the final value of this project? Does it convey any unique idea?

I respect that you participated in the jam and managed to complete a project. I hope that in the future, your games will have more interesting ideas.

Good luck with your future projects—keep searching and experimenting!

Thanks for the comment, my friend! Indeed, in the last microjam I participated in, I tried to use as few pre-made assets as possible and created everything from scratch. This time, I had to use the FPS asset because my schedule was really tight (I’m studying Digital Games at college, so it took up half of my weekend). Good luck with the jam! ❤️

I understand, and in any case—great job! Keep working and making games!
