I love a good top down shooter! I think either adding a stat for the number of enemies defeated or total time survived would be nice from a player point of view. Keep on coding and good job on submitting something, participating in a jam isn't easy! Also I think if you were to put a thumbnail up for your game, you might get more traffic over here :)
