I made a mistake in my factory and 5 thousand went to 0. :(

Yeah... you lose a ton of money if you make a mistake, it was always intentional but probably too punishing. If you open the clipboard and pause the machine you usually can sell a few parts to revert the mistake and start making money again, if you just leave the tab open with a working machine you can have practically infinite money so I think the punishing-ness adds a bit of drama and challenge that wouldn't be there if you had no risk of failure. Bit of a cheap design though I know.
