Yeah... you lose a ton of money if you make a mistake, it was always intentional but probably too punishing. If you open the clipboard and pause the machine you usually can sell a few parts to revert the mistake and start making money again, if you just leave the tab open with a working machine you can have practically infinite money so I think the punishing-ness adds a bit of drama and challenge that wouldn't be there if you had no risk of failure. Bit of a cheap design though I know.

Hmmm not sure what happened in the windows build for you, sorry you had that experience. For what it's worth it seems to work on my end.
Thanks for the kind words! The main problem with casting the spell without holding it is that if you have a projectile it's hard to see the results cause you're holding the book in front of your face! You're definitely right that the process could be smoother and clearer. Obviously chalk it up to limited time, great points if we ever do a V2 though!
I honestly love this. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that!! Great job.
I think the only thing that crossed my mind was that there are some cases where, if you accidentally destroy an environmental object, you get stuck and have to start over. It didn't happen to me, fortunately, but it was just something I noticed in some of the level design. (Though this could certainly have been intentional.)
You've made a great self-contained game that I think is perfect for a game jam. Hats off!
Thanks!
Do you mean like you are given a set of spells and have to sort out where they go? I see where you're coming from for sure but I ended up liking the economy of things and seeing how few spells you can get away with or if you can bank some money or spells for next round. You can always kinda push for "maybe I should try without this spell and see if I can beat it first."
Nice work! I quite like this game, and I found myself playing it over again a few times. You have a perfectly focused concept that is just right for a game jam, and you executed it wonderfully. I like that you made the game accessible to people with color blindness as well -- that's not something you see often!
