I really liked the story and how it's told by the photos, really cool concept, and also well achieved since the ilustrations were amazing. What I didn't like at all were the cinematics, I think in this case, less is more, they would put me completely out of immersion. In my opinion, a jumpscare, or any kind of horror, works better when the player is controlling the playthrough, feels like it's happening to them, if the jumpscare is part of something they cant avoid, it feels a bit distant. But don't misunderstand me, I really liked the game and got spooked with the other jumpscares as well!
