Is there a way to enable VSync? My GPU fans went crazy when the game started. Overall the game is amazing, keep up the great working!

Yes there is now. In the media folder "config.txt" uncomment the line at the bottom marked //vsync=1 so that it instead reads vsync=1 (you'll have to redownload the game though - I just made the change based on your comment)
