Game Page

Mostly I'm interested to know how well the game runs on your machine (framerate - press '0' in game to show), and whether there were any bugs or glitches.

Also - I'm keen to know if it did run well, whether you enjoyed watching the battles and/or playing the card game.

Details of what I'm asking for are shown on the image below but mainly:

1. Did it run?

2. Framerate?

3. Fun?

thanks.

Game Page

I've been working on this for a little over a month as a hobby. It's not complete, there's still work to be done, but it is playable.  I'm not much of a gamer myself so often I need feedback from others about what my games lack in terms of design and gameplay.

I don't have a specific release date, or schedule. I'm just building it as I go, adding whatever seems necessary at the time.

Screenshot below.

Not everything is 2d on itch, there are some 3d projects, but itch.io generally seems to be for newer/beginner indie developers often - and 2d is the obvious starting point for many of them.  My Itch Page has a few projects - some are 2d, and some are 3d, my latest is 3d.

3d Fantasy Battle Scene Viewer

Itch Page

Greetings, Merry Christmas,

I have released my game on itch.io yesterday.

The game is a simple 3d fantasy battle viewer in real time with both a cinematic demo mode and a card based battle system.

There are three factions, but you only play as the humans. In a later update I may alter that.

It is written using older technology, blitz3d, so modern Windows might complain on install.

I hope you enjoy.

from Matt.

Glad to hear. It does seem to depend a lot on the combinations of colours used in an artwork. And in a way, because it's trained on my opinion of 'good' and 'poor' works - it's really just an electronic version of my opinion...sort of.

Hi - I tried your game after you commented about it on a reddit post about 12 hours ago (you'd commented on my games and asked for feedback on yours).

I'm not very good at it. I find the ship moves too slowly for me to able to dodge the enemy bullets and such easily. I'm sure there's upgrades you can probably get to make your ship more agile, but I'm not good at this game and so kept getting killed and having to repair the ship.

I like the concept.

The menus could be a little clearer. When I first played the game before I went out for breakfast this morning I died straight away, then I came back after lunch and tried again and I kept clicking Play Mission which did nothing because I didn't realise I had to repair the ship first. So it would have been beneficial to put maybe a little message on screen saying "Cannot play mission because ship must be repaired first" or something.

There's little things like that that make it a bit easier to know what to do. I didn't read all the 'how to play' as it was far too long for me to get into.

I do like the graphical style, but I feel the ship is too cumbersome to move at the beginning, and some of the menu prompts could be a little clearer at knowing what to do.

The sprites are purchasable from oryx - google them, and craftpix.net

No - I didn't include the death animations when I was putting the in the game because I simply used an exploding sprite of sorts to represent death in the game.

I do have the original base animations and could have easily drawn them as well - but I did not.

Stellar Fleet Conflict is available from my itch.io page at matty77.itch.io.

Stellar Fleet Conflict

It is a space battle game which is just as fun to simply watch the space battles unfold as it is to play them.

It is written in C# / SDL2 and is fake 3d in 2d.

I hope you enjoy the game.

It is easy to add more missions to the game by changing a few text files.

The game uses my own C# SDL2 2D Engine that I've been using for the last few years for other games as well.

Warlock is my new game for browsers and can be found here: https://matty77.itch.io/warlock

It is a fantasy adventure role playing game. Dungeon crawling comes in two flavours, arcade mode and regular story mode.

There is an open world map with a variety of things to interact with and do.

Here are some screenshots...
