To be honest I will most likely have them just add normally, like 5% + 5% gives 10%, it will probably be easier to balance in the end.

There are curative spells in game. There is White Magic that can be learned from a traveling Priest NPC, you have to donate 1 whole Gold (10000 CopperCoins) in one go to him though. He will then give you a Skill Manual that teaches White Magic.

There was also a pet, a Snowman that had a scarf head accessory that allowed casting a restorative spell, but that was only available during the Winter event.

Water spells will likely be combined in the future with Ice Magic rather than having a category of their own.

Glutton Mechanic is a bit more complicated than that. Eating a food identical to your last meal has a 10% chance to increase your Gluttony score by 1. Eating an Unhealthy food decreases your Health Score (not Gluttony Score) by 10/20/30, similarly, eating a Healthy food increases your Health Score by 10/20/30. If your Health Score (which starts at 0) reaches 100, your Gluttony Score gets decreased by 1 point. If your Health value decreases to -100, your Gluttony score increases by 1 point. Once your Gluttony Score reaches 100 you will get the Glutton Flaw.

I must have eaten a lot of baked potatoes and grapes in order for me to reach a gluttony score of -100. thanks for the info. now to find a priest.

No problem, just make sure to change them up every meal, so Grape -> Potato -> Grape, wont cause any increases, etc.

hey FeyRing, quck question. what if I spam a "healthy food", say like lotus chips, would it raise my gluttony score?

It still has a 10% chance to raise it, but statistically speaking, you will probably cancel it out with the effect of healthy food. I might rework the whole system at some point though, as it is not set in stone yet.

here's a thought, you know in the Goblin Tower on the second floor where you can train with the dummies, maybe make the training as an "exercise" so that it would deduct a point or two to the gluttony score. it would require 20 VP and 2 game time hour/minute. you could make it more taxing to "exercise" as a form of consequence from eating "unhealthy", or in my case, spamming baked potatoes. haha. just a thought.

on a side note, game is amazing by the way, even in its alpha stage. and to think you're developing this (I assume) on your own. more power to you.

Hmm, I'll consider it, though Gluttony wasn't really an indication of your character getting Fat or anything like that!

And thank you! I am developing this on my own, but I do use a lot of 3rd party scripts, Music and Sounds. Plus the donations on Patreon help a lot so I can't take full credit for everything.
