I've got a few suggestions that have been rattling around in my head for a bit.
- A hammer/mallet. I'm thinking swinging it against the ground (when fully charged) knocks back enemies within a certain radius.
- A nest for the Vampire Bat. A giant cave set inside a mountain, perhaps? Or maybe a tree? The Bat could ignore you until you attack it.
- An enemy with a suicide attack.
- An axe.
- More ranged weapons, like a crossbow or javelin.
