Quite fun, but I think the game often depended on luck rather than actually deducing who the initial patient zero was. I also didn't get any use out of testing the objects. Did the screen shake mean that it had been contaminated? Anyways good job!

Thanks for playing! The screen shake means the object/person is NOT infected at that point of time, if it turns red, it means  they are. I should add this to the instructions ><

Ideally, since the target can get sick from  objects as well - testing an object before and after a "suspect" has come in contact with it can tell you if that "suspect" carries the infection.

Do you think this information makes the gameplay more strategic than luck based? I'd  love to hear :)

Okay I understand now, but I managed to always guess the subject without testing any objects. I guess it could make sense testing the object, because it cost only 0.5, but maybe the game was too easy, because of having only a handful of suspects, for using such advanced tactics.

Ahh, interesting! I agree, more suspects would make the game  more advanced. Thankfully,  it's all systemic so adding more suspects and objects  is as simple as .  I'm not sure if the jam rules allow for updating so I'll probably wait till voting is over to update.

Again, thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback :)
