Nice idea, but very difficult to clear the levels. I liked the game. Please take some time to rate my game too... It's available on macOS and iOS and web and there's a gameplay video on the game's page :)

I guess it's my problem but I couldn't really understand how to play ^^'''
Aw thats unfortunate. I had to rush to make a tutorial by the deadline. Hm I'll try to explain. Tell me if this helps! :)
- What you see after receiving transmission.. is a recording, you can use the slider to go through the video
- One of the 5 people in the room, the index patient, is infected at the beginning (slider on extreme left) - this changes in each round randomly
- The Target (man in hat) gets infected at the end (slider on extreme right)
- You can click on something /someone to check if they are infected at that point of time (slider position), if they turn red, it means they are infected
- The idea is to go through the recording, and trace the infection back from the target to find the index patient. - the path is also procedurally generated each level
- You have only 2 Tests, so you cant test everyone. You have to test and identify the index patient within these 2 tests.
- Testing a person costs 1 Test, testing an object costs 0.5 Tests.
- The infection spreads from people to objects, objects to people and people to people.
Great game! Must of been a hassle to program. I always enjoy unique puzzle games! If I were to update it, I would give the video some sound that plays when you scrub the video like in some video editting programs.
Liked the idea of the game.
It caught me of guard in the first level of how much I overlooked the character interactions, but as you play you realy start to get the hang of it.
Also I spent a 3 minutes in the tutorial trying to understand why my mouse wans't interacting with nothing to just realize that the "mouse pointer" wasn't my pointer and I need to click in the NEXT button on top of the screen.
Very nice game, I'm a little bit bored with this virus stuffs but this one has different gameplay i like it. Good Job!
Really cool idea, it was fun to play. I should say it was a bit easy, maybe you can increase the difficulty over levels ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I really like the game, it's a cool little deduction game where you have to be careful. I just think 3 tries is a bit too easy and the tutorial could be a bit clearer. But all in all I really like this entry I spend a good 10-15 minutes just playing it.
This is pretty cool! It has a lot in common with a game I made a few weeks ago (https://arcadonauts.itch.io/nine-to-die) but I think yours was more fun!

Quite fun, but I think the game often depended on luck rather than actually deducing who the initial patient zero was. I also didn't get any use out of testing the objects. Did the screen shake mean that it had been contaminated? Anyways good job!
Thanks for playing! The screen shake means the object/person is NOT infected at that point of time, if it turns red, it means they are. I should add this to the instructions ><
Ideally, since the target can get sick from objects as well - testing an object before and after a "suspect" has come in contact with it can tell you if that "suspect" carries the infection.
Do you think this information makes the gameplay more strategic than luck based? I'd love to hear :)
Ahh, interesting! I agree, more suspects would make the game more advanced. Thankfully, it's all systemic so adding more suspects and objects is as simple as . I'm not sure if the jam rules allow for updating so I'll probably wait till voting is over to update.
Again, thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback :)
