Well, I am not in with a game but I think other inspirational things could be:
- stranger things: how upside down and our reality are linked together and what changes
- doctor strange: how the environment changes when they are in the mirror dimension, it makes me think about how the starting from two similar maps I can end with two different maps (also the old sci-fi movies Dark City reminds me the same vibe of changing environment that changes)
- a map of plate tectonics and a map of the earth or a map of the stars and the same map with the horoscope signs drawn on it are an inspiration for the same space with a different meaning
