You can't continue a game you previously made, since all the assets (except what I listed in the first rule) should be made during the jam period.
Viewing post in expanding upon a previous jam?
what if i polished the assets, better artwork and audio, so it would technically be like a new game? i was planning on rewriting the code to optimise it anyway as well as allowing new features.
"General purpose code, designing, bases and models, placeholders, and story can be made before the start of the jam"
think of it as a placeholder demo/prototype which i will now be turning into its own game.
I'll ask you not. You already have a base to work on, a demo. That's already more than what people who started today have. I took a look at your game, and to me, it doesn't seem like a prototype, and it's even well made for a one week jam. So if you want to participate in the jam, please start with a new game.
